Happy Truck Month to Y'all!

I'm Reid Dickson and I hope your Truck Month is going well. Because we all know that Truck Month never really ends. Neither does the love for our pickup trucks. So that's why I started this brand that was born from a friendly greeting I made up many Truck Months ago here in Texas. What was only intended to get a quick smile turned into fun stories told and proud pictures shown. These happy moments inspired my vision to launch an inclusive cultural lifestyle brand for the practical everyday pickup truck owner. Any make and any model, show truck or 'needs work and prayers', full-size, mid-size or light-duty, if it's got a cab and a bed, then come 'Join our Tailgate.' Let's celebrate your truck and your fun with it. Because trucks are fun.

This website has crank windows. No 'cutting edge' tech here, but my shop is safe and secure. Simply, it does its job well. Just like your favorite old truck.

Happy also means: As an e-commerce business brand owner, I’ve learned there are many strategies and little tricks designed to get more of your hard-earned money. These are all normal industry practices, but are tactics that I simply refuse to do. It’s a ‘Golden Rule’ thing. For example: On the first day of this website build, I disabled the "Abandoned Cart Notification" setting. Here's why: If you leave a place, and they chase after you because you 'left something in your checkout cart' – no worries here. We're cool. Come and go as you please. I'm not going to plow over your inbox with annoying follow-up emails. In fact, I don't want to send you any more emails than required, and I'll damn sure never send a marketing text to your phone. Ever. Who started that?!  As a commitment, the only emails you'll receive are the ones we are required to send: Your order confirmation, your shipping notification and your order delivery notification. We'll send one email to our subscriber list at the beginning of the Truck Month. This announcement is to inform of new products available, and to congratulate the newest story selection for our growing tailgate party: "Happy Truck of the Month" blog page and social media pages (follow us!). We love to hear your truck stories, so send them over! You are the 'Framily'. And again,

Happy also means: There will be no annoying pop-ups, drop-downs, side-drawers of sign-up offers, bundles and barrage of sales notices. No accounts. No chatbot. No BOGO. No BOGOHO. No Black Friday. No Cyber Monday. No Pumpkin Spice. None of that B.S. But a big Yes to Taco Tuesday, Sunday Funday, Favorite Dives and High Fives. It's not because I'm cheap.
