This shop won't win any web design awards. That's ok — it doesn’t need to, and I'm certainly not a web designer. But, this website runs as it should. It doesn't leak fluids and it passes safety inspection. Not a lot of bells-and-whistles here, but the radio comes in clear and we're rolling safe and happy. All that, is what a first-truck should be: 

Not overbuilt.
Not overpriced.
Just trusty.

"Happy Truck Month" started as my fun gag-greeting around 2008 to get a quick smile in response. That's it — a quick inside joke and a genuine smile back. Go ahead and try it out! It's a fun call-and-response to use year-round because 'Truck Month' never ends. Does it? No one really knows. But for many of us, Truck Month
— is time itself.  

Many Truck Months later, I realized there has never been a 'point-to' lifestyle brand for all the everyday pickup truck owners that simply love their trucks and all the fun they have with them. Considering that: Unofficially, pickup trucks are the official vehicle of America — why not celebrate that? Happy Truck Month can serve as an online ‘tailgate party’, and folks can bring their truck stories to share and maybe grab some cool gear while they're here to show the love for their trucks. And we can share what Happy Truck Month is really for:

We’re not running a truck show, or a competition and there’s no judgement here. Just a friendly gathering of the tradesmen, the weekend warriors, the men and women who show up smiling with their trucks every day, when it counts, because couches don't move themselves — Thank you.

Happy also means: As an e-commerce business brand owner, I’ve learned there are many strategies and little tricks designed to get more of your hard-earned money. These are all normal industry practices, but are tactics that I simply refuse to do. It’s a ‘Golden Rule’ thing. For example: On the first day of this website build, I disabled the "Abandoned Cart Notification" setting. Here's why: If you leave a place, and they chase after you because you 'left something in your checkout cart' – no worries here. We're cool. Come and go as you please. I'm not going to plow over your inbox with annoying follow-up emails. In fact, I don't want to send you any more emails than required, and I'll damn sure never send a marketing text to your phone. Ever. Who started that?!  As a commitment, the only emails you'll receive are the ones we are required to send: Your order confirmation, your shipping notification (actually 'trucking') and your order delivery notification. We'll send one email to our subscriber list at the beginning of the Truck Month. This announcement is to inform of new products available, and to congratulate the newest story selection for our growing tailgate party: "Happy Truck of the Month" blog page and social media pages (follow us!). We love to hear your truck stories, so send them over! You are the 'Framily'. And again, 
— y’all deserve it. 

Happy also means: There will be no annoying pop-ups, drop-downs, side-drawers of sign-up offers, bundles and barrage of sales notices. No accounts. No chatbot. No BOGO. No BOGOHO. No Black Friday. No Cyber Monday. No Pumpkin Spice. None of that B.S. But a big Yes to Taco Tuesday, Sunday Funday, Favorite Dives and High Fives. It's not because I'm cheap. It's because I always wanted to offer what other brands won't — So, until the end of Truck Month (forever):
