Because Walker, Texas Ranger drove a Dodge Ram, I am naming my Ram 'Truck Norris' in his memory.
It’s a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 — 2WD, short bed, single cab — and I picked it up at the beginning of January in a trade for my custom VW Golf. I wasn’t really looking for a truck, just open to offers, but once I saw it, I didn’t hesitate.
It’s got 330k on it, but only about 20k on the engine and 10k on the transmission. The truck’s been in southwest Missouri its whole life and has never left. It’s all original, clean, rust-free, and just a really solid truck. Runs great, looks good, and is just fun to drive.
I’ve got a few small things to take care of up front — wheel bearings, steering arms, nothing out of the normal. It’s got a brush guard, custom 3D printed emblems, and a 9" touch screen stereo.
